Grown in the highlands of Ethiopia’s Sidama region, Sidamo Mirit’i is a standout natural-process coffee that showcases the vibrant character Ethiopian coffees are celebrated for. Produced by Karamo Coffee under the leadership of Niguse Gemeda — winner of the 2020 Ethiopian Cup of Excellence — this lot reflects a deep commitment to quality, traceability, and collaboration with local farming communities. Cultivated at elevations reaching 2380 MASL, the cherries develop exceptional sweetness and complexity before being carefully sun-dried using traditional natural processing methods. The result is a lively and expressive cup layered with juicy stonefruit notes of apricot and yellow peach, balanced by a bright yet smooth citrus acidity. Sidamo Mirit’i offers a refined introduction to the distinctive elegance and fruit-forward profile of Ethiopian coffee.
